Bone Grafting

There are many situations in which bone grafting is necessary.

The most common situations include:

  • Preparation for dental implants
  • Filling defects left over when cysts have been removed from the jaws
  • Bridging defects that have been created due to:
    • Removal of large cysts or tumours
    • Traumatic injuries to the face
    • Gaps created following repositioning of the jaws during orthognathic surgery
